First Impression: Flagtime

What would you do if you could stop time? Moritani for one is using her unusual ability to stop time for three minutes a day to observe the people around her. One day, she chooses to “observe” class idol Murakami’s panties – only to find herself in a very compromising situation when her classmate turns out to be immune to her power. Flagtime is a very interesting. Moritani is socially awkward. She usually uses her ability to stop time to run away from people or observe her surrounding. Murakami is a popular girl, who’s very straight forward. I love the development in the manga and how their relationship is building. The character development is amazing so far. This is one of those manga that you must read. The story is very sweet. It’s kinda sad to see that such an amazing manga is so underrated. So go check it out. I’m already a fan-girl of this manga! xD

First Impression:

The other day I was checking out what’s new in the manga world, when I came across this title. The manga is titled “Hero Mask” so I thought it’s going to be another corny hero manga. You see most hero manga are similar to one another. Anyways, I thought I should give it a try since its under “Seinen” genre. I’m glad I checked it out! It was so interesting!! They have a Hero club at school. Also, the manga is about self-development which is exactly why I love manga!! The characters have a cool idea about hero and justice which was nice. Even though they still haven’t had any serious action/fighting scenes, it seems like the manga has potential. I can’t wait to read the next chapter and I believe you should give it a try its pretty interesting. :D

First Impression: Seiten no Hekigan

Even after one month of transferring to a new school, Natsuki keeps her distance from her classmates. Her childhood friend Haruka always tries to push her to be more sociable, but Natsuki just pushes her away. One day, while Natsuki was skipping class and eating lunch on the school balcony, a slime-like substance drops right on top of her. The slime slowly forms itself into… a human girl? An odd relationship between Natsuki and her new alien(?) sister begins. (Source: MangaHelpers)

First Impression:

For some reason… I believe this manga is fit as a slice of life. Seiten no Hekigan has a very interesting first chapter that made me continue reading it. As it says in the Summary the manga is follows this girl Natsuki. So far we know that Natsuki had a incident in the past that made her anti-social and depressed. We also know that she encounters an Alian and take her into her home as her sister. I just read chapter 8 and eagerly awaiting the next chapter. You won’t believe how good the story keeps getting. So check it out and tell me what you think.

Billionaire Tono Ryuichi, the President of Tono Foods Group, a giant food company, recently acquired two young female assassins from the Mexican cartel. Sui and Ai came from unimaginably poor childhoods and was given a choice between killing people or selling their body. They chose the former and went through an inconceivably extreme training and, at 17 years old, they have become one of the deadliest assassins in the world. They are absolutely obedient to their master and they are given the task of finding the killer that poisoned Ryuichi’s wife and child. They begin attending high school to blend into society and, at the same time, read and study which helps them become even more deadlier on the field. Sui and Ai encounter Matoba Imari who is a high school assassin herself and may be more skilled than both of them. But unlike the two, Imari just wants to lead a normal life. Whatever Imari wishes for her life is not their problem because the only thing Sui and Ai feeds on are bloodthirst and a challenge. (Source: MangaHelpers)

First Impression:

This manga is the sequel of Ordinary ±. In this manga 2 new characters prevail and they are as sick as Imari. The manga is by Takahashi, Keitarou who made Jormungand. So the art is amazing and so is the concept of the manga since its about Assassins. The manga is so intense with amazing action. So far only two chapters are translated in English. I so can’t wait to read chapter 3. Also it seems like more assassins will show up in the up coming chapters. It’s totally exciting I can’t wait to read more!!

P.S. If you’re not familiar with Ordinary click on the hyperlink above to read its review.

Thoughts about Kakumeiki Valvrave

I’ll write a review about this anime after the second season ends. So this post isn’t a review of the anime. It’s just thoughts and expectations of whats gonna happen next. ****WARNING: the post may contain major spoilers****

I have to say first that I love the Mecha in that anime Valvrave is the best.

There are 5 Valvrave:

Valvrave 1, 3, 4, 5, and 6

And my fav are 1 & 6

Each valvrave has its own unique feature, and somehow reflects the pilot personality. I mean how cool is that!!

So back to the anime’s actual story. The story takes place in outer space, and revolves around Highschool students that can fly the valvrave. Though in order to pilot the valvrave Mecha they have to give up their humanity and become immortals. I found that to be very interesting. Though as the story develops it takes some weird turns to a point where i actually questioned myself “what the hell am I watching?” Though I didn’t focus too much on those events and just enjoyed the anime. Yes, I found it to be enjoyable. Especially when they showed clips of 200 years later! That was epic.

  • Haruto Tokishima: I don’t know how this guy is the heroin. He’s so soft and always driven by his emotions… I think he’ll totally break in the next season.
  • L-elf: his obsession with Haruto’s power is kinda weird and he so not loyal. I’m not sure how they trust him.
  • Shouko Sashinami: the way this girl thinks is so unreal. Cause sometimes she feels like a saint. She’s a good character though!
  • Saki Rukino: I don’t get this characters feeling… Nor the way she thinks but damn she’s hot! ;p she acts like a B**** most of the time, but you can tell its because she’s seen too much in life.
  • A-drei: this guy literally had one word to say through out the anime “L-elf” which was extremely annoying!
  • Kyuuma Inuzuka: this guy has a bad temper and he’s always with Aina-chan they have this unspoken love connection.
  • Akira Renbokouji: she’s my fav character. She’s a nerd/NEET who’s hiding in a corner of the school. Though the reason she breaks out of her shell was totally lame… I mean supermarket really?
  • Raizou “Thunder” Yamada: this guy is a smug and a bully. He insists that people calls him Thunder.
  • Aina Sakurai: she’s the most angelic character in the anime. She always advice people to do the right thing and stuff.

Season 2 PV:

Season 2 will be out Fall 2013

Season 2 Expectations:

I’m so excited that there is a season 2 for Valvrave. It’s such and awesome anime. I would love to see the final fight that was such a cliffhanger from season 1. Also I expect Valvrave 6 to take a bigger roll in the second season. We all like valvrave 3 and it’s pilot but let the rest of the characters have a chance to shin as well please!!! XD and yeah I wanna know what happens between Shouko and Haruto after he killed her father. Also how Akira’s personality changes after the last episode from season 1. I have a feeling that Shouko will forgive Haruto… So October come fast!! XD

First Impression:

I was intrigued by the manga when I first read its title. I didn’t know anything about the manga when I first read it. I’ve only concluded that its interesting and I wanna read more of it. As I was reading I kinda recognized the drawing style it was similar to Sun-Ken Rock. So, it turned out to be the same author. Boichi is one of the best Seinen manga artist/author so I wasn’t surprised. The first chapter starts as a slice of life. It’s basically the life of a NEET. Then a women comes in the picture when everything changes and the story becomes Ecchi, Interesting no? Now that you got the story, time for some action. It’s a perfect story why are you still reading this and not the manga already? :o

First impression: Citrus (Saburo Uta)

Fashionable Yuzu imagined the first day at her new school she transferred to after her mother’s remarriage a bit differently; she didn’t know it’d be an ultra-strict and conservative girls’ school. So instead of a sweet high-school romance, she butts heads with the stern student council president Mei – who turns out to be her new step sister. And she has to learn that hate and attraction are often not that far apart.

First Impression:

Citrus began with a strong plot. It’s one of the few yuri manga with a decent plot. I like the direction the manga is headed. It will make you curious, like I seriously can’t wait for the next chapter. Also the manga’s art is amazing, and the characters are awesome. The story is kinda deep to a certain extent. Also that’s gonna sound weird but I’ve never read a yuri manga that had better kissing scenes than this one. I totally recommend the manga even if you’re not a yuri fan you should give it a try. The manga is hot and not by any means gross.

First Impression: Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai!

Genres: Comedy, Romance, School

I know that I’ve just posted the fall to watch list, but I missed this anime so instead of editing the post I’m gonna write a first impression about it.

First Impression:

Chuunibyou demo Koi ga Shitai! Is being released both as a TV anime and an ONA. I watched both the TV and the ONA. The first TV episode didn’t serve the anime right. After the second episode I understood the awesomeness of the anime. As for the ONA some episodes were filling the anime gaps and the others were just side stories. The thing that attracted me most about this anime is how Rikki is so in her head. She lives based on her imagination which is funny and cool at the same time. The anime surprised me a couple of time which was interesting. I so can’t wait to see what’s gonna happen next.

K’s preview captivated me. I had to watch the anime… It really met my expectation. The action is amazing. The characters are crazy. The anime kinda reminded me of Durarara, even though they’re so different. I can’t wait to see more!!

Here is K’s PV:
