Review:

Ever since I’ve watched the OVA I’ve been out-blown by Kyousougiga. It had beautiful art and an insane concept. It was also the most animated anime I’ve come across. Therefore I was thrilled that it was getting a TV release and up to 10 episodes. I mean how more amazing can this get? I love how they didn’t change the concept much they simply explained the OVA. Like how the worlds came to be and how the creatures came to be. Also we got background stories of almost all the characters which was pretty interesting. The thing I loved most about this anime is we the beautiful animation but more over the thrilling action. It was always allover the place but within reason and it served the story right. It also had the right amount of drama and comedy, so its never boring. The ending of the anime however, gave me mixed feeling. It was good but it wasn’t what I expected or what I wanted to see. but it was good. So I highly recommend Kyousougiga for its one of the best animated animes out there and its worth checking out that’s for sure.

Review:

If you have watched the anime you know that it follows Okabe Rintarou. Similar to the anime the movie talks about time travel though unlike the anime It actually follows Makise Kurisu. If you haven’t watched the anime and you are planing to, the movie wont ruin the anime for you. The movie was more of a romance drama than the anime. Nonetheless it was absolutely beautiful. The movie’s main focus was on Kurisu-san and how she’s trying for Okabe. It was very good and I’ve very much enjoyed it. But compared to other animated movies it wasn’t great. As a Steins;Gate side story it was perfect.

What I’m trying to say is if you are new to the series you will enjoy the movie. If you are a fan you’ll love the movie because of its different prospective. I’m a fan and I loved it.

Anime Review: Sasami-san@Ganbaranai

sasami_san_ganbaranai___06___large_end_card

Summary:

The Japanese call them hikikomori—people who’ve become so withdrawn socially that they refuse to leave their homes for weeks and even months at a time. For Sasami Tsukuyomi, who’s attempting to pass her first year of high school despite being a shut in, it’s more than just a word. Fortunately though, she lives with her older brother Kamiomi, who just happens to be a teacher at the school Sasami is supposed to attend. Not to mention, her “Brother Surveillance Tool” which lets her view the outside world via her computer and will, theoretically, allow her to readjust to interfacing with people again. What it mainly does, however, is let her view her brother’s interactions with the three very odd Yagami sisters, who inexplicably seem to have had their ages reversed and have various types of “interest” in Kamiomi. And then things start to get really weird… Magical powers? Everything turning into chocolate? Is life via the web warping Sasami’s brain, or is it the universe that’s going crazy? Review:

At first I was interested in Sasami-san@Ganbaranai because Sasami is a hikikomori. Like in the first episode how she was writing her fictional story… It was epic how the events of the episode kept turning. Then there was the Yagami sisters, they made the show very fun to watch. In short I enjoyed Sasami-san@Ganbaranai very much. The anime was full of action, unnatural events, comedy, and pretty emotional issues that were addressed there. It was very interesting to watch pretty unpredictable and they keep surprising you in each and every episode. It got pretty dark at times… Like very dark but it didn’t ruin the story. The anime wasn’t great but it was very good. I wasn’t impressed with the ending, it didn’t do the anime justice. Overall very good anime.

mai-hime

Review:

Mai-Hime is a great anime. I was genuinely surprised about how good it was, I honestly didn’t expect it. It is a fairly or somewhat of an old anime. Nonetheless it is worth watching very good story and an interesting plot. It does have a somewhat of a Shoujo Ai aspect to it. I’m just giving you a heads up. The most interesting part for me was that each character had a certain depth to her/him. its not like other anime where the main character is the main focus. The was a dragon in the anime which turn up its rate for me. There were some pretty funny moments in the anime and some very dramatic ones that got me teary. Therefore its an excellent story. As for the animation it was pretty good for its time… as in fairly animated. The soundtrack was pretty cool as well. There wasn’t anything bad about the anime but it did lack something, You should check it out and judge for yourself.

Review:

Kyoukai no Kanata where shall I begin… Its amazing in a very unexpected way. The anime is both brutal and filled with fan service for a PG-13 rated anime. The story is very good both beautiful and sad. There are many amazing stuff in the anime I cant pin point one thing that made it special. To simplify it, its a Slice of life anime with a hint of comedy that takes an action turn of events. I must mention that the animation is gorgeous. Also the characters never failed to surprise me. I really enjoyed getting to know their powers and personalities. I believe that the director and writer are very creative specially with the way they laid down the ending. I totally respect them for that. I wished that the anime had more action in it or more like I wish that some fights have lasted longer. Nonetheless its a great anime.

Color-in-Simoun

Review:

Simoun had a very unusual story. I cant call the anime Shoujo Ai or Yuri though. The characters in the anime are genderless and they can choose their gender once they are 18 I guess or something like that. So there are a lot of stuff about this anime that you need to consider when watching it. Like the Mecha, which I love there. The story had so much depth in it. I wasn’t expecting that. Also it addresses some serious issues which was very entertaining for me, In short, It exceeded my expectations in a very good way. I also loved the fact that I got to see every characters story they didn’t just focus one the two main characters. There was something about the ending that I didn’t quite like. It would be a major spoiler if I mention it so watch the anime and enjoy it. It has a pretty good story. The ending isn’t bad or anything like that. There was just something there that I didn’t like.
